Who are the people associated with the Golden Globe Awards?

THE HOLLYWOOD FOREIGN PRESS ASSOCIATION is known worldwide for its glittering Golden Globe Awards ceremony held every January.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association had stemmed from a group of journalists' desire to efficiently and accurately cover the world of entertainment.

They are responsible for donations more than $7.7 million to entertainment-related charities, as well as funding scholarships for future film and television professionals.

The HFPA is currently celebrating its 65th anniversary in Hollywood representing some 55 countries.

Each year HFPA members interview more than 250 actors, directors, writers and producers. More than 300 films are visited each year.
