Amy Winehouse was arrested in London in connection with an alleged plan to derail a criminal case against her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil.

"A 24-year-old woman has been arrested by appointment at an East London police station," police told PEOPLE mag. "She is currently in custody. The arrest was in connection with an investigation into perverting the course of justice."

Lawyers for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline returned to court for an emergency hearing after the singer missed a deposition appointment and no action was taken against her.
