Dan Fogelberg, bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman

Singer-songwriter Dan Fogelberg,died on Sunday, three years after being diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. He was 56.

"He fought a brave battle with cancer and died peacefully at home in Maine with his wife Jean at his side," said a posting on his Web site (http://www.danfogelberg.com).
"His strength, dignity and grace in the face of the daunting challenges of this disease were an inspiration to all who knew him."

Fogelberg was a native of Peoria, Illinois.

TV bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman appeared Saturday at a holiday toy giveaway sponsored by a black advocacy group. Chapman, 54, apologized in November for repeatedly using the N-word during a March phone call to his son, urging him to break up with a black girlfriend.
