Hello readers! Sorry it's been a while. To make up for it I'll do a few different things.

TODAY THE NEW HAIRSPRAY COMES OUT ON DVD!!!!
Thank goodness. This was one of the most talked about movies of the summer. I. personally, loved it. The soundtrack was fantastic. Casting was PERFECT. For Nikki Blonsky's first movie I was shocked... she seemed very professional. This version was definitely better than the John Water's version from 1988. As Ebert and Roeper said: "Two thumbs up!"

SPEAKING OF JOHN WATERS LET'S TALK CRY-BABY.
Not every ones favorite movie but if you like to Johnny Depp in his underwear then this is for you! In this movie Johnny Depp plays a juvenile delinquent a.k.a. a "Drape" who falls in love with a girl who is of better upbringing and comes from "the Squares." Very Romeo and Juliet/Westside Story. There is singing and the movie is a bit lame but I give it a 6 out of 10.

NEW RELEASE: RATATOUILLE...
Great family movie. I went to see this movie thinking, "Oh good! I'll get a good nap in." But I was mistaken. It's very different from most kids movies because it's fun for everyone... not just the kids. I recommend getting it for sure. Cute date movie, good babysitting movie, nice movie to put in while your kids are bored.

NEW GOOD CHARLOTTE SONG "I DON'T WANNA BE IN LOVE".
Finally a good new song from this band. Original "GC" fans might not like it because it's more pop than their old stuff. It's also a little more "dance-able" meaning its easier to dance to than their old stuff. Fans of Fall Out Boy and Cute Is What We Aim For might like this song.

HYPNOTIZED BY PLIES FT. AKON
I would like this song a lot more if it wasn't constantly mentioning sex, boobs, and butts. The beat is okay and the lyrics aren't suitable for younger audiences.

CYCLONE BY BABY BASH FT. T-PAIN
Great dance song. If you like hip hop and rap this is a song you'd want to listen to... if you haven't already.

CRANK THAT (SOULJA BOY) BY SOULJA BOY TELL 'EM
Man that song got old fast. I always find people making fun of that song and/or making jokes referring to it. Too repetitive for my tastes.

EVOLUTION BY KORN
I actually really like this song. It's not like all their other annoying growly songs. Fans of Seether's "Fake It" should listen to it and see if they like it. I have a wide variety of music in my library so my opinion isn't always the best.
